Late Deadline is July 15 for Film & Screenplay Submissions

By Kris Kendall

Portsmouth, NH | The July 15 deadline for film and screenplay submissions to the New Hampshire Film Festival is just around the corner!  This is your last chance to submit films and screenplays before submission fees go up.  After July 15, submission fees in ever category will increase by $10.  Films and screenplays must have been completed after January 1, 2012 for consideration in the 2014 festival.

Filmmakers and Screenwriters still looking to submit have two options to do so through Withoutabox and Film Freeway.  Giving filmmakers more options benefits both the festival and the artist, and NHFF is excited to continue their partnership with Withoutabox, and to have added FilmFreeway as a submissions medium!

Filmmakers looking to submit should visit NHFF’s webpage on Withoutabox or Film Freeway which contains information regarding fees for submissions.  At NHFF we understand the challenges associated with independent filmmaking and take them into consideration when determining our fees.  Last year we were named One of the Top 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee by MovieMaker Magazine. Late entry deadline is July 15, 2014 and fees will increase after that.  Take advantage of this opportunity to deter some of those costs of filmmaking.

Estimated notification for submission decisions is late September.
