New Hampshire Film Festival Announces an Eleventh Finalist to the 2011 Screenwriting Competition

Following a last-hour extension to the submission deadline for the New Hampshire Film Festival entries, an eleventh finalist has emerged from the late submissions. For her submission of “Fin Chaser,” Screenwriter Maria Cozzi joins the other ten finalists previously announced.

The top three screenplays will advance to the final round where they will be read and scored by our featured guest judge Buzz McLaughlin of Either/Or Films, who will determine the Grand Prize Winner of this year’s competition.

An award-winning playwright, screenwriter, and published author, Buzz works with writers to help hone their craft. He and his business partner are in development on several films, and have recently launched the Either/Or Script Development Lab, which features stage readings of plays and screenplays at the Starving Artist studio in Keene, NH. This year’s New Hampshire Film Festival in Portsmouth, NH runs October 13-16.
