NHFF Announces 2016 Workflow Workshops including Virtual Reality

The New Hampshire Film Festival is honored to present two back-to-back, cutting-edge workflow workshops featuring several industry professionals

 

360° VIDEO AND VR MEDIA WORKFLOWS WITH G-TECHNOLOGY

Hosted by Dan Deering of MacEdge, Bobby Lombardi of G-Technology, and Ken Dodge of Anchor Line Projects, this workshop will discuss some of the complexities of VR capture, editing, and delivery, and the unique storage workflow solutions that G-Technology has brought to market to address the needs of VR media professionals. During the workshop we will capture 360 video on a VR camera rig, stitch, edit, and deliver the finished media to have a better understanding of the 360 video production process.

Join Dan Deering of MacEdge, Jonah Fine of RED, Bobby Lombardi of G-Technology, and Ken Dodge of Anchor Line Projects to come see the newest generation of RED digital stills and motion cameras, and discover how the RED camera and G-Technology partnership delivers faster workflows by directly integrating RED MINI-MAG camera media into the G-Technology ev Series ecosystem. RED camera will demonstrate the ability to simultaneously record in REDCODE® RAW and Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR/HD file formats on their line of DSMC cameras, while G-Technology will show how to manage the captured footage throughout the production workflow.

Jonah is a RED product expert that specializes in education, training and operation of RED’s line of digital cinema cameras.

  • KENNETH DODGE — CREATIVE DIRECTOR, ANCHOR LINE PROJECTS

A professional film director/editor for over 10 years, Ken began his career by stealing his sister’s VHS camcorder. Although he is no longer a thief, he is even more passionate about making films.
