Come party with us at the NHFF!

NHFF has officially kicked off this morning with NH Day! Head on over to the Festival Schedule if you haven’t already decided which films you are going to see. Every year with the help of our wonderful sponsors, we get to celebrate at some of our favorite Portsmouth spots. Party with us this weekend and be sure to include ‘@NHFF ‘ and #NHFF on your social media posts!

On Thursday, join us for the NH Night Reception, 6:30pm at the Music Hall. The event will be catered by Blue Mermaid, known for their delicious Caribbean style cuisine.  By 7:30pm, New Hampshire Night Welcome will be commence the festival with Slingshot. we’ll end opening night with the UNH Afterparty at Flatbread. All ticket and pass holders are welcome to join us to celebrate the award recipients of New Hampshire Day & Night.

Friday night we’ll be at The Music Hall for the Red Carpet Gala followed by Opening Night Ceremonies. Meet the NHFF staff, sponsors, special guests and hear from executive director Nicole Gregg before settling in for this year’s Opening Night Film, Jason Reitman’s Men, Women, and Children.

At 9:30pm, the Opening Night Party begins at Portsmouth’s premier night club destination – Portsmouth Gas Light. Dance the night away – and we’ll see you in the morning!

By noon on Saturday, you’ll probably be hungry so head to One Harbour Place to join us for our Waterfront Hospitality Party featuring Demeters Steakhouse appetizers, Robert’s Maine Grill seafood chowder and a sampling rom Stella Artois, Sobieski Vodka and Angeline Winery.

After a full day of panels and screenings, Saturday night we’ll be at the Martingale Wharf for the Portsmouth Chevrolet After Party. The NHFF’s signature after-party starts at 10:30pm with creations from Kate Parker Designs and Chris Malloy Events.

We’re not done yet – if you have VIP Pass, head to brunch at the 100 Club on Sunday at 10:30am.

Finally, on Sunday, join us for a bittersweet Closing Night Reception catered by Agave, hailed as the best Mexican food on the North Shore. At 5:20, we’ll be in the Music Hall Founders Lobby as we ready for the Closing Ceremonies. There we’ll be unveiling the young filmmakers workshop who have been busy all weekend as well as the A&E and Oscilloscope Laboratories Awards Ceremony. The Granny Award presentation will be followed by the closing night film. The Granny Awards are the heaviest award in the film industry – chiseled from granite – and they will be awarded to the best films of the 14th Annual New Hampshire Film Festival. You don’t want to miss it – and you don’t have to – it’s open to the public.
