Jiàoliàn (Coach) is the story of 27 year-old Norman De Silva who overnight was given the head coaching job of the Chinese Basketball Association’s Foshan Long Lions. Despite being younger than most players on the team and being abroad for the first time in his life, Norman is placed in charge of a team of Americans, Syrian and Chinese players to compete for a championship. Jiàoliàn (Coach) is a story about how the game of basketball can bridge the most distant of cultures.
