Maine kicks off the final day of this years New Hampshire Film Festival

Maine, a film directed by Matthew Brown and produced by Summer Shelton, Michael B. Clark, and Alex Turtletaub, was screened at 10:30 a.m. at the 3S Artspace Sunday morning.

The film follows Bluebird, a Spanish woman solo thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail. During this period of self-reflection, Bluebird comes to meet an American hiking partner. As their journey advances, Bluebird is forced to open up about challenges she is facing. Maine combines the human need for independence with the natural pull of codependency throughout the relationship of Bluebird and her travel companion.

Kicking off the New Hampshire Film Festival’s final day, Maine, starring Laia Costa and Thomas Mann shows the adventure of reclaiming one’s self identity.
