New Hampshire Day Kicks Off the 17th Annual New Hampshire Film Festival

The wait is over! The 17th Annual New Hampshire Film Festival kicks off tomorrow morning at Portsmouth’s historic Music Hall Loft, featuring the first of the NH Short Blocks.

If you’re not familiar with New Hampshire Day, it’s the mini film festival within NHFF that is dedicated to NH-affiliated films. We have so much talent and creativity here in our granite state, it only makes sense to show off our best on the opening day of our favorite weekend of the year!

Some of the events to be on the lookout for tomorrow as you pick up your passes at The Portsmouth Discovery Center are…

Andy Wooff’s Birthday and Heroin Effect at The Music Hall, followed by a Q&A

Short Block 6, featuring short films such as Sunset, Where’s The Butter, and I’m Here at The Music Hall Loft, followed by a Q&A

404 Not Found and It’s Criminal at The Music Hall, followed by a Q&A

Also at The Music Hall, a reception catered by our friends at 2 Ceres Street, NH Night Welcome and the presentation of the Van McLeod Award, followed by the Opening Night Feature And Then I Go, and to close the night, the NHPTV NH Awards.

If you’re feeling hyped up after the award recipients are announced and don’t want New Hampshire Day to end, head over to Flatbread for the Anchor Line Allagash Bash After Party.
