NHFF Comedy Panel to Showcase Star-Studded Lineup of Actors & Comedians
If you’re in the mood for some laughs at the 2019 New Hampshire Film Festival (NHFF), look no further than Saturday night’s highly anticipated comedy panel! The signature event will take place Oct. 19 from 7:40 to 8:40 p.m. at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth.
Local on-air personality Greg Kretschmar of Greg & The Morning Buzz will return to moderate. This year’s participants include:
- Emmy Award-winning host Tom Bergeron, best known for his appearances on Dancing with the Stars and America’s Funniest Home Videos.
- Actor/writer Josh Meyers, star of MADtv and That 70’s Show, who also happens to be the brother of late-night talk show host Seth Meyers.
- Actor Matty Cardarople whose resume includes appearances on the Netflix show A Series of Unfortunate Events and the second and third seasons of Stranger Things.
- Actor/writer Hayes MacArthur, star of the TBS comedy series Angie Tribeca, and films including Super Troopers 2 and She’s Out of My League. He’ll also be in the upcoming Apple TV+ series The Morning Show.
The NHFF Comedy Panel is a standing room only event that’s a cross between a talk show and Inside the Actors Studio. Panelists will discuss the current state of comedy and offer insight into the entertainment world, while audience members have the opportunity to ask questions.
Just like this year’s spotlight films (The Lighthouse, Uncut Gems, and The Cave), two of the comedy panelists have ties to New Hampshire — Josh Meyers from Bedford and Matty Cardarople from Exeter.
The NHFF Comedy Panel is open to VIP and Weekend passholders, which can be purchased online. Be sure to arrive early, as this event will sell out.
