22nd Annual New Hampshire Film Festival

The New Hampshire Film Festival is an annual fall event located in Portsmouth, NH that unites professional filmmakers, screenwriters, and film industry experts with film lovers. Drawing more than 10,000 attendees annually, NHFF is the region’s premier film festival and is an integral resource for local and national industry professionals who return each year.
MovieMaker Magazine named the New Hampshire Film Festival to its annual list of 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee, celebrating festivals that serve moviemakers and audiences in some of the best destinations in the world.
Recipients of the New Hampshire Film Festival’s qualifying awards will be eligible for consideration in the Animated Short and Live Action Short Film category of the Academy Awards® without the standard theatrical run, provided the film otherwise complies with the Academy rules.
NHFF provides an opportunity for filmmakers to premiere their feature film, short, or episodic project in front of press, industry, and smart, enthusiastic audiences.
