The Nicoles will be on the radio between 11:50-12:10 Wednesday June 20 sharing some behind the scenes stories of festivals past, and tid-bits about the upcoming festival. Pledge Drive Info:

Pledge Week began on Friday, June 15, and is running through Thursday, June 21.  The Pledge Drive is WSCA’s opportunity to ask their listeners to chip in to keep Portsmouth Community Radio on the air. If you are interested in supporting Portsmouth Community Radio during the Pledge Drive, you can call your pledge in at 603-430-9722, pledge online, or stop into the Portsmouth Community Radio studios at 909 Islington Street, Portsmouth, to make your pledge.  All donors are automatically entered into the grand prize drawing — a summer CSA share from Heron Pond Farm:  Weekly fresh fruits and vegetables worth $550!

History of WSCA:
The Portsmouth Community Radio project was initiated in June 2000 when signs were posted around Portsmouth announcing a meeting to discuss applying for a Low Power FM license. WSCA 106.1 FM Portsmouth went on the air on September 12, 2004, and has since been broadcasting a diverse and eclectic mix of music, public affairs, arts, and cultural programming 24/7/365.

Portsmouth Community Radio Mission:

The mission of Portsmouth Community Radio is to operate a nonprofit, listener supported, volunteer driven, non-commercial FM community radio station dedicated to serving the greater Portsmouth community. Portsmouth Community Radio broadcasts diverse and alternative programming which is primarily produced locally and reflects the cultural, educational, artistic, civic, and business fabric of the listening community.
