Presented by The Headlands Foundation
There is a lot about New Hampshire that sets us apart from the rest of the country. Our “live free or die” attitude, the ability to drive from the mountains to the ocean in a few hours, and sensational landscapes are just a few things that make the state special.
Also setting us apart? In the film and media world, NH currently has the distinction of being one of just five states in the country with no type of benefit or incentive for film production.
We are being left behind as this industry grows nationwide.
Over the last year, a group has been building a community and core foundation to advocate for film in New Hampshire’s state legislature. This is not the first time there has been advocacy efforts in NH for the film industry. However, there is a difference this time over previous attempts: there is a community, and that community is pushing in the same direction.
Join us for a conversation about bringing film to the state, and hear about current advocacy efforts, plans, and how you can get involved. You’ll discover that the time is now to lay the groundwork to make New Hampshire a state that has a flourishing film and media industry.
