Bergeron, best known for hosting “Dancing With the Stars” and “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” has deep roots right here in Portsmouth (he got his start working for WHEB-FM radio in the early 1980s and later hosted “Granite State Challenge”).
This year, in addition to participating in the annual Comedy Panel, he will once again serve on the Narrative Grand Jury, helping to determine which narrative film will win the prestigious Granny — the heaviest award in the entire film industry.
