Michelle MacLaren to Return to NHFF
MacLaren to talk Game of Thrones, Better Call Saul, her newest show The Deuce, and more about the marriage of business and creative and how its all works together.
As one of the most well-known television directors working today, MacLaren has worked on Game of Thrones, Westworld, The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad and most recently The Deuce. She was recently named in IndieWire’s Critics Survey of “Best TV Directors of All Time.”
MacLaren, who last visited the festival in 2014, will join Steve Mosko, former Chairman of Sony Pictures Television and Executive Producer of Kevin Can Wait and the final season of Breaking Bad, to discuss the marriage of business and creative and how it all works together.
Together they will show clips, share stories and go behind the scenes of some great TV moments. This is not to be missed special event at this year’s festival!
The Behind the Scenes discussion with MacLaren and Mosko takes place Saturday, Oct. 14th from 1:40pm to 3:10 pm at The Music Hall. The event will be hosted by Rae Dawn Chong.
