In light of their continued generosity, the NHFF team recently reached out to the local car dealership for a special Sponsor Spotlight.
The following Q&A is with Dahvin Greenfield, Digital Marketing Manager at Key Auto Group, which operates Portsmouth Chevrolet among other locations throughout southern New Hampshire. In addition to being a longtime festival attendee, Greenfield is also a veteran volunteer of the annual film festival.
How many years have you attended NHFF?
“I’ve been attending the New Hampshire Film Festival since 2009 and I started volunteering as a Screenplay Judge since 2011.”
What are some of your personal highlights from past year’s festivals?
“I am absolutely fond of the panels that take place at the festival. Last year I attended a “One-On-One” session with John Michael Higgins that was held at 3S Art Space. They showed various clips from productions he had starred in and it was great to hear him share, in great detail, how certain scenes were shot, what was scripted versus not scripted, and so on. It’s a learning experience that I am so grateful to have had right here in Portsmouth, NH.”
What is your favorite part of the annual film festival?
“The atmosphere! The New Hampshire Film Festival brings so much charm to an already artistic and enchanting downtown Portsmouth. The fall weather of New Hampshire is at its peak during the festival. People from all walks of life are visiting our beautiful town to simply share a love for films. What can beat that?”
Favorite movie(s) shown at NHFF?
“Food Fight, WolfPack, Stanford Prison Experiment, Black Fish…. I have a thing for documentaries, can you tell?”
Favorite after-party?
“The Portsmouth Chevrolet after party of course! We will be at the Martingale Wharf Saturday, October 14th starting at 10:30pm! It’s a great way to end a day full of seeing films. We hope to see you there!”
