Challenger Disaster: Lost Tapes takes a fresh look at the events leading up to the destruction of the space shuttle Challenger on January 28, 2016 using a unique approach. The program is built entirely out of archival material -- no narrator and no interviews. The goal of this approach is to create an experience that is a historical time capsule, giving the viewer the experience of what it was like to live through the event. It was broadcast on the National Geographic Channel in 172 countries.
